Melbourne adepts of crooning synth-pop FERLA, are excited to announce the supports for their upcoming headline show at The Grace Darling on Friday 14 September. The show is a celebration of their latest offering, the upbeat sad-banger ‘The Human Heart’, which reached #4 on the Amrap metro chart and has been enjoying play on community radio stations RTR, Edge Radio, PBS and Triple R.
Joining them for the party are powerhouse garage rock three-piece Spiral Perm and the 22 year old self-produced wunderkind Jarrow, who will be performing a solo set of his silky smooth garage pop tunes.

Spiral Perm’s sound is reminiscent of The Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Ty Segall, topped off with Ali’s phenomenal vocals, which she has honed through an epic career in her solo outfit Ali E and other acts such as Damn Terran and Mod Vigil.
Jarrow is the solo moniker of Dan Oke. Since it’s humble bedroom recording origins, Jarrow’s unique brand of lo-fi garage pop and introspective lyricism has caught the attention of Australia with two self-produced LPs – including his recently released 2nd album Expensive Hugs. As a 4-piece Jarrow have taken on festival stages like Splendour In The Grass, BIGSOUND + Boogie Festival as well as supporting international acts such as The Wombats, Car Seat Headrest and The Libertines.
Playing their first headline show for 2018 FERLA will deliver their distinctive after-dark bangers while teasing what’s to come. Sometimes angular and energetic, sometimes sultry, FERLA’s captivating live show is carried by Giuliano’s expressive, dynamic voice and the casual precision of his band. Tickets are on sale here.
