DEAD LETTER CIRCUS: The ‘Armour you own’ tour – Jive gig a sellout.

The Armour You Own’ is the first new piece of original music from Dead Letter Circus since 2015’s ‘Aesthesis‘. It also sees a welcomed return to their amplifiers after 2017’s ‘The Endless Mile‘ – a stripped and acoustic reimagination of songs from the Brisbane five-piece’s career.
The single is lead by crunching guitar riffs, driving rhythms and showcases frontman Kim Benzie’s soaring signature vocals over huge hooks. The song was produced by the duo of Forrester Savell (Karnivool) and Matt Bartlem (Jarryd James, Matt Corby) and while its sonically impressive – the lyrics underlie an important message. Benzie explains further..

“The Armour You Own spawned from guiding someone important in my life through a bout of anxiety. The constant musing around flipping your moments of fragility into opportunities for growth. TAYO is the perfect vessel for this message – it’s a pulsing confident riff-monster, whilst dripping with positivity.”

Dead Letter Circus will make a triumphant return to the national stage for a handful of intimate live shows in support of the song. ‘The Armour You Own’ single tour will kick off on May 31 at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel and take in major cities like Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Fremantle. The band will be match fit, having just wrapped up shows with American supergroup Prophets Of Rage on their recent Australian visit.

Tickets for the ‘Armour You Own’ tour are on sale at 9.00am, April 20. With limited capacity at each of these venues, tickets are expected to be snapped up quick.
